Friday, December 19, was an amazing day at Lehigh Parkway. Lehigh Parkway continued its partnership with the William Allen Canary for Life Team led by Karen Comegys. She helped organize a joint visit with her team and the William Allen Chorale. Brandan Remp and the Chorale went from class to class caroling and spreading joy throughout our school. Members of the Canary for Life team participated in the classrooms as teacher assistants for the day. They also led a holiday craft activity with our students.
The Allen students were kind, patient and caring in their interactions with their younger peers. The connections our Parkway students have made with their high school heroes are invaluable.
The grand finale was the Chorale performing for the Lehigh Parkway community to open our December Awards Assembly. Our parents, students and staff are very thankful for the wonderful performance.
